Hi, I’m David Barmherzig. I’m CEO and Co-Founder of Photonous and a research scientist affiliated with the Flatiron Institute‘s Center for Computational Mathematics and the University of Toronto Department of Computer Science.
I completed my Ph.D. at Stanford University, with Professor Emmanuel J. Candès as my doctoral dissertation advisor. I also hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science (with Honours) and an M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Toronto, and have been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University.
I’m also accredited by Professional Engineers Ontario, and have served as a technical consultant to MedX Protocol.
